Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard‘s baby’s dad, Turner Kufe, is staying out of the spotlight but fans are slowly getting to know more about him amid the former couple’s split.
Hubbard and Kufe started dating in January 2024 and welcomed their daughter, Gemma, that December. At the Summer House season nine reunion, which aired on June 4, Hubbard revealed that she and Kufe are no longer together.
“We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,” the reality star, 38, said. “We are just focused on being the best parents that we can possibly be to [our daughter], Gemma.”
Hubbard hinted that a difference in opinion about fame might have caused the couple’s breakup. “There’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once,” she said. “Dad is private, mom is public and what does that make baby?”
Summer House viewers heard about Kufe for the first time earlier in season nine as they watched Hubbard’s pregnancy play out on the show.

Who Is Lindsay Hubbard’s Ex-Boyfriend, Turner Kufe?
Kufe, a medical doctor who currently works in biotech investing.
Hubbard confirmed her boyfriend’s identity in Feb. 12’s season premiere, sharing details about him for the first time. “Turner’s very private. He’s not on social media. He is, like, nerdy, but he’s also so fun. And funny. And normal! He’s a normie!” she said in an interview on the episode. “I found myself a f–king normie, and I love it.”
According to his LinkedIn profile, Kufe works as the Royalty Pharma Vice President of Research and Investments, a role he’s had since 2021. He previously worked at J.P. Morgan for almost three years. As for his studies, Kufe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College before attending Tufts University Medical School from 2013 to 2017.
Kufe is two years younger than his 38-year-old girlfriend who described him as “extremely driven and ambitious” during a May 2024 appearance on the Bitch Bible podcast.
Kufe & Hubbard Started Dating in January 2024
Hubbard and Kufe have been dating solidly since January 2024 but actually had a brief fling back in 2020, as she revealed the Bitch Bible podcast, saying that she initially connected with him “three and a half years ago” but it was “bad timing.”
“Some of my friends call it, like, a boomerang, where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right, and then they come back around,” she stated. “He broke things off with me, but he did it in such a respectful way.”
Fast-forward to December 2023, after Hubbard ended her engagement with Summer House co-star Carl Radke, Kufe reached out again and the couple started dating the following month. As Hubbard revealed on Summer House, they became official in March 2024 and she found out she was pregnant the following month.

A few months into their relationship, Hubbard announced her pregnancy in an interview with People in July.
“Obviously, it was a surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning, but we had some honest conversations and it just felt so right for both of us,” Hubbard told the outlet. “He’s just so excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with me. It just means the world to have someone like him by my side.”
On December 8, 2024, they welcomed their first daughter. “She’s here!! 🎀” she wrote on Instagram. “Gemma Britt Kufe 🤍.”
Hubbard & Kufe Had a Private Relationship
Hubbard has gone to great lengths to keep her relationship out of the spotlight. When she first announced her pregnancy back in July, she declined to reveal the identity of her baby’s father.
“He’s a private person, mostly because of his high-powered job,” Hubbard told People at the time, only divulging that her partner was a doctor who works in biotech investing. “Obviously, I’m a very public [person] and share pretty much every aspect of my life with the world, so I know it’s weird. But I need to respect his privacy here.”
Later that month, however, outlets like Page Six confirmed his identity after much speculation, naming Hubbard’s boyfriend as Turner Kufe.
Kufe Will Not Star in ‘Summer House’
Fans of Summer House shouldn’t expect to see Kufe on the small screen anytime soon. Speaking of that decision, Hubbard said it was all about keeping his privacy. “When the summer [of 2024] hit, of course, we started having conversations as I went into filming about whether he would participate,” she told StyleCaster in a Feb. 12 interview. “The response was he’s a very private person. He has a job in finance.”
“A lot of guys in finance sign these non-publicity clauses in their contracts that prevent them from being able to do press and TV shows,” she explained.
Hubbard also spoke to Stylecaster about how she plans to navigate her family life with appearing on the show in the future. “Obviously, I’m not gonna live in the summer house with my baby every weekend,” she said. “We did a lot of filming in the city the last couple of years. I live in the city. I’m also planning on being in the Hamptons. Maybe I’m not living at the house every weekend, but let’s stop by the house or let’s meet up at the beach or let’s go to the park in the city.”
Hubbard & Kufe Took Their Romance Slow After Having Their Daughter
Even after welcoming Gemma, Hubband and Kufe opted not to live together. Hubbard told StyleCaster that she and Kufe aren’t planning on any other major milestone anytime soon.
“I’m just worried about poopy diapers and having spit up on me at all times,” she said. “I’m adjusting to becoming a new mom right now.”
“Engagement and marriage are absolutely even further down the list at this point,” she continued. “We have a new baby. There’s a lot of learning, newness, and adjustments. I am postpartum, and my hormones are shifting. My body is changing. I’m trying to get used to being a mom, first and foremost, more than anything else.”
Hubbard & Kufe Are Happily Co-Parenting After Their Breakup
While opening up about their split at the Summer House season nine reunion, Hubbard said she and Kufe are “an amazing team” when it comes to caring for their daughter.
“Even on the weekends when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends,” she said.
Hubbard also didn’t shut down the possibility that she and Kufe could get back together, saying they will “see what happens in the future.”
