Gisele Bündchen just made her post-baby modeling return, and let’s just say, motherhood has never looked more ethereal. The 44-year-old supermodel, who welcomed her third child earlier this year with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, is officially back in front of the camera. Her first project? A Vogue France cover shoot that rebrands postpartum glow as a full-on goddess aesthetic.
Shot by fashion icon Mario Sorrenti for the magazine’s June/July 2025 issue, Bündchen floats through the editorial in barely-there lace gowns that fall somewhere between Victorian nightgown and angelic forest nymph. It’s the kind of dreamy, barefoot-in-water imagery that makes you forget this woman literally just had a baby three months ago.
She shared some of the snaps on Instagram, captioning the dreamy photos, “To me, wellness goes far beyond physical health. It’s not just about what you eat or how you move, it’s also about how you feel, think, and live. It’s in your thoughts, your habits, the boundaries you honor, and the inner peace you protect. True wellness is about embracing, honoring, and nourishing every part of who you are.” (See more photos over at Vogue France.)
“I feel more comfortable in my own skin and have a clearer understanding of my priorities,” Bündchen told the outlet, adding, “I’m grateful for where I am. I feel like I’ve earned it.” And she has. After years of stepping back from the runway to raise two kids with ex-husband Tom Brady (plus helping co-parent his oldest from a previous relationship), Gisele’s recent career resurgence has felt like one long “Good for her” montage.
Instead of high-concept runway drama, the images embrace natural beauty and calm confidence, perfectly matching Vogue France’s “Wellness” theme. Bündchen wades through coastal waters, her hair tousled by the breeze, radiating a quiet strength and serene ease.
And yes, she addressed what it’s like to get glammed up again after months of late-night feedings: “Having my hair and make-up done makes me feel like I’m on vacation,” she joked. “With a baby, the nights are so short that I’ve hardly brushed my hair in recent months.”
Now that her baby boy (whose middle name is reportedly River) is sleeping through the night, Bündchen says she’s finally “back in control of [her] rhythm.” She even gave us a peek at her “little angel” on Mother’s Day, writing on Instagram that she’s been “embracing the slower rhythms” and the beauty of simply living life off-camera.
When Bündchen steps back into the spotlight, she does it on her terms — and looks effortlessly regal while at it. And honestly? We’re here for it.
