Well, if you’re looking for inspiration, then look no further than Pinterest‘s latest Predicts Report, which is all about the biggest trends for the upcoming summer months in 2025. While trends are somewhat all over the place, this summer has one major thing in common with all the trends: it’s all about embracing your inner cottagecore goddess.

According to Pinterest’s just-released report, so many gardening and all-natural activities are trending, and it’s sure to be what everyone is doing in the hot months ahead.

Don’t believe us? See what the biggest food and drink trends will be, and how much they’re already trending.

Vintage Garden Parties

It seems 2025 will be the year of the cottagecore girlies, especially since garden parties are seemingly going to be the biggest summer trend. From picnics to wildflowers, it seems garden parties are up by 34 percent on Pinterest’s search. But specifically, everyone is looking at vintage garden parties, which is up by over 80 percent, and evening garden parties, which are up by nearly 90 percent.

Superfood Smoothies

Superfood smoothies are basically a delicious drink that can unlock so much, from boosted energy to improved gut and digestive health. and reduce inflammation (remember that one!) Now, on Pinterest, superfood smoothies are up by 101 percent, and drinks that are anti-inflammatory are up by 205 percent; talk about the best of both worlds. (And before you ask, some superfoods include avocados, chia seeds, kale, blueberries, and more!)

Garden to Table

Farming is the new thing now for the summer. Not only are flea markets the go-to spot, but garden-to-table is the new way to cook this summer. From garden to table is a practice where people grow their own food in a garden to eat later. This act of gardening for sustenance has been going up, with searches upping over 115 percent. Plus, urban farming is up 374 percent, as well as homesteading, which is up 201 percent.

And even if you’re in an apartment or have a small backyard, no worries. There’s also been high searches for small backyard vegetable gardens, which is up 246 percent, and Martha Stewart vegetable garden, up 72 percent.

Green Juice

Along with superfood smoothies, green juice is up! Specifically, green juices for gut health are up 316 percent, and spinach smoothies that taste good are up over 220 percent! Time to get green this summer.

Edible Flowers

Yes, edible flowers are a thing, and they’re going to be huge this summer. While edible flowers aren’t specifically stated in the report, flowers are the biggest takeaway. For instance, flower garden is up nearly 260 percent, as well as the whole garden-to-table act. So while you’re gardening, maybe try to look into how edible flowers can spruce up your meals this summer!

Summer Detox Drinks

Along with all the other drinks trending, there’s another big one: detox drinks. Summer Detox drinks are one of the biggest trends going into the summer of 2025, with the search skyrocketing over 580 percent. Summer detox drinks are often fruit-infused drinks that keep you happy and hydrated during the hot months. (That’s also probably why flavored water drinks are up nearly 300 percent!)

But let’s talk about one major part of the wedding: the cake.

Some DIY their cakes, and some go all out with a cake. In fact, per Wedding Wire, the average for wedding cakes in the US is anywhere from $500 to $700. Now, this is already a huge number, but we need to talk about another part of wedding cakes: the celebrities who get the wildest, biggest ones out there for literally thousands of dollars.

While we’ve expected this from the multi-tiered wedding cakes from royals, so many celebrities have done the same. From having live birds in a cake to having multiple for one day, we’ve seen it all.

Below, see the wildest, most lavish celebrity (and royal) wedding cakes we’ve ever come across.

Aldi Is Dropping a Brand New Pizza Cookie Next Week in the Most Summery Flavor Possible https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234885752/aldi-pizza-cookie-summer/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234885752/aldi-pizza-cookie-summer/#respond Fri, 30 May 2025 01:15:40 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234885752 Summer is all about fresh air, sunshine, and the most flavorful fruits. There’s nothing like biting into a juicy peach on a hot day or sharing sweet strawberries with a friend or eating a refreshing watermelon by the pool. It’s pure bliss! Perhaps one of the most iconic summery flavors is lemon: tart, strong, and addicting, especially when mixed with sugar and ice for lemonade or when frozen for a fun treat. Now, Aldi is combining this delicious summer flavors with one of their new desserts, and we can’t wait to try it.

Aldi just released their upcoming specials for the week of June 4-June 10, and we spotted a dessert that looks simply delightful. It’s a new pizza cookie that tastes just like summertime!

Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen is selling a lemon pizza cookie at Aldi this week. This yummy dessert comes fully baked — all you have to do is heat it up and serve. The shareable cookie is lemon drop flavor with white chocolate chips inside. We bet it would taste so good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

The lemon pizza cookie is just $3.99 and would make for the perfect dessert when hosting a backyard BBQ or pool party, or a just-because dessert, because why not? Keep it in the fridge and warm it up or freeze it to make sure you have a delicious taste of summer whenever the mood strikes.

Another type of dessert pizza that you’ll love this summer? Fruit pizza! This berry-good recipe calls for strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, store-bought sugar cookie dough and other ingredients. It’s so easy to make, and the finished dessert looks as gorgeous as it tastes. In fact, might as well get Aldi’s pizza and make the fruit pizza and just have a pizza party. It’s fun, easy, and perfect for summer.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with more awesome Costco bakery items seen in the gallery below.

A New Costco Food Court Menu Item Has Been Spotted in the U.S. — Is It Coming to You Soon? https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234882657/new-costco-food-court-combo-calzone/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234882657/new-costco-food-court-combo-calzone/#respond Thu, 22 May 2025 15:33:27 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234882657 If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

Costco shoppers in Michigan recently spotted an exciting discovery that has Costco food court enthusiasts buzzing with anticipation across the country. A brand new combo calzone has been spotted at a Michigan location, marking what could be the wholesale retailer’s latest addition to their beloved warehouse food court menu.

Priced at $6.99, this hearty handheld creation is packed with premium ingredients that deliver a whole lot of value. The new combo calzone features a generous combination of sausage, pepperoni, melted cheese, and tomato sauce. But the fun doesn’t stop there because Costco has also loaded this calzone with veggies, including peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olives, creating a complete meal wrapped in golden, crispy dough.

The sighting has sparked widespread speculation about whether this Italian-inspired menu offering will roll out to additional U.S.-based Costco locations, following the company’s typical pattern of testing new items in select markets before making them a permanent addition.

Given Costco’s reputation for serving hefty portions at unbeatable prices, the $6,99 calzone appears to continue this tradition while expanding beyond the food court’s traditional pizza, hot dogs, and chicken bake offerings.

The new menu item seems to have a bit of mixed reviews from online shoppers who saw the announcement on Instagram. “Ohhhhh I’m definitely gonna need to try one of those!” one shopper commented. Another added, “Yum! I can’t wait to try”

But mixed in with the people eagerly awaiting their first bite of the new calzone, several expressed their upset at Costco not bringing back the supreme pizza instead. “Just please bring back combo pizza, why we we makin a calzone grrr lol,” one shopper wrote. Costco discontinued the popular supreme pizza back in 2020, and shoppers have voiced their complaints ever since, so it’s not really a surprise to see they’re a. bit disappointed to see their favorite menu item come back as a calzone.

It seems like only this select Michigan location has received the new item so far. There has been no word or announcement from Costco about when (or if) the new item will roll out nationwide, so unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait and see.

The TikTok-Viral Dubai Chocolate Is Coming to Trader Joe's & the Price Can't Be Beat https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234882053/trader-joes-dubai-chocolate/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234882053/trader-joes-dubai-chocolate/#respond Wed, 21 May 2025 16:08:23 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234882053 If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

Usually viral TikTok food trends come and go, no matter how delicious they are. But there’s one social media sweet that’s got serious legs. We’re talking about Dubai chocolate, of course! This confection, made with strands of toasted knafeh dough (sort of like threads of phyllo) mixed with pistachio paste and enrobed with chocolate, took the internet by storm when it was first introduced. The combination of crispy, creamy, and melt-in-your mouth textures is the stuff of dreams, but until now, these chocolate bars could set you back as much as $20 each. Leave it to Trader Joe’s to change all that. Rumor has it that Dubai chocolate is coming to TJ’s soon, and the price is oh-so-right.

Dubai chocolate has gotten so popular that it may be responsible for driving the cost of pistachio kernels higher. But Trader Joe’s must have found a great deal, because according to social media reports, a Trader Joe’s insider shared that the new Trader Joe’s Dubai chocolate bars will retail for just $3.99.

In a post made on May 20, Instagram user TraderJoesObsessed shared that the new chocolate bar would be in Trader Joe’s stores as of next week. On Reddit, another person shared a screen shot of a TikTok that showed the Dubai-style chocolate bar in the Trader Joe’s inventory system, with an estimated availability date of May 28.

Trader Joe’s Dubai style chocolate bar will be made with dark chocolate, but it’s the crispy, creamy, pistachio and knafeh filling that makes this bar so unique. Reddit user leomets commented, “have not tried it in any form yet,” and another commenter shared, “the flavor is good but the texture of the filling will make or break it for you personally.” Other commenters were just excited about the price of the Dubai chocolate bar coming to Trader Joe’s. “Thank you, TJ!,” shared ytown. “Got my daughter a $30 Dubai chocolate bar for her birthday. This is much better!”

You can start checking Trader Joe’s shelves for their spin on this TikTok viral sweet next week, but if you’re craving it NOW (like us!), then you can always try your hand at Giada De Laurentiis’ and daughter Jade’s easy twist on Dubai chocolate at home.

Costco’s New Loaded Potato Salad Will Be Your Summer BBQ Side Dish Hero https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234881458/costco-loaded-potato-salad/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234881458/costco-loaded-potato-salad/#respond Tue, 20 May 2025 13:22:37 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234881458 If you’re a potato salad lover, then you need to get to Costco as soon as possible. There’s a Loaded Potato Salad available at Costco’s Deli, and it’s jam-packed with delicious flavor. It’s the ultimate side dish for any BBQ, backyard party, or beach picnic, and at just $4 per pound, you can grab a whole bunch for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend.

“There’s a new loaded potato salad in the Costco Deli in a two-and-a-half-pound container,” Laura from Costco Hot Finds on Instagram said in a recent post. “It’s made of russet and red potatoes, and topped with bacon crumbles and cheddar cheese. This was creamy and delicious.”

Inspired by a loaded baked potato, the salad is also made with mayo and sour cream, giving it a tangy, savory goodness. It’s also mixed with green onions for a bit of freshness.

According to those who have already tried the Costco Loaded Potato Salad, it tastes as delicious as it looks. “This is really good and a great side dish for summer BBQs!!” one person commented on Laura’s post. And with the long weekend coming up, you’ll definitely be on the hunt for a great side dish to bring! Another said, “So delish … highly recommend.”

Some people in the comments are suggesting that you can heat it up a bit to serve it warm with the cheese melted. This would definitely drive home the loaded baked potato flavors — “I’m putting that bad boy in the oven,” one person said.

If you can’t find this potato salad at your Costco, you can definitely recreate the flavors at home. Just make your favorite potato salad recipe as usual, but add sour cream, bacon, cheese, and green onions before serving. And if you don’t already have a favorite potato salad recipe, check out this lineup from some of our favorite famous chefs. Your mouth will be watering by the end!

Costco Just Dropped a New Frozen Food Item That Shoppers Say Is a Total Taco Bell Dupe https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234880684/costco-frozen-mexican-pizza/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234880684/costco-frozen-mexican-pizza/#respond Fri, 16 May 2025 19:53:54 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234880684 When a Taco Bell craving pops up — and it will — how will you answer the call? Load up the kids and get the whole family tacos? Order it for delivery? Try to wait and see if the craving passes?! Wouldn’t it be better if you already had your own personal Taco Bell dupe at home you could heat up instead? Yes, yes it would, which is why Costco’s latest frozen food item has us salivating. It is similar to one of the fast food brand’s famous offerings, and we can’t wait to stock up for a rainy day.

You may prefer soft tacos or hard-shell, chalupas or chimichangas, but the one item we can all agree on is Taco Bell’s delicious Mexican Pizza. It’s made with beef, cheese, beans, tomatoes, and Mexican pizza sauce, with the option to add a variety of toppings like lettuce, pico, and more. The delicious personal pizza features two layers of yumminess, but at $5.39 each, it can cost a small fortune to feed your entire family. That’s why Costco’s version is perfect.

Instagram user @costco.so.obsessed shared photos of this new find online. The Dos Banditos Foods Mexican-Inspired Layered Pizzas comes with six personal Mexican pizzas for just $18.89. Their version is made with corn tortillas, seasoned beef, and cheddar jack cheese, and topped with tomatoes and green onions. Cook in a conventional oven or an air fryer, then add your own sour cream, pico, beans, and any other toppings from home to customize it to your preference.

Because the ingredients were similar, many people in the comments wondered if this tasted like Taco Bell’s version. “I wonder if these taste like the Mexican pizza at Taco Bell 🛎️,” @costco.so.obsessed captioned the picture.

“Oh my! I wonder too!!! I love Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza too!” one person commented. Someone lese wrote, “Ooh delish 🙌❤️.”

Still, others claimed it’s not as good. “They do not! 0/10 do not recommend!” one person wrote.

The only way to know for sure is to buy one and try it yourself (a hardship, we know!). Costco does have a good track record for dupes, though. They have bacon, egg, and gouda sandwiches just like Starbucks, a version of Uncrustable sandwiches for adults, and a cilantro lime rice that is similar to Chipotle.

It’s clear Costco knows what it’s doing, and our tastebuds (and wallets!) are happier for it.

The Best Store-Bought Kimchi to Add to Your Shopping List https://www.sheknows.com/feature/best-kimchi-2740847/ https://www.sheknows.com/feature/best-kimchi-2740847/#respond Wed, 14 May 2025 18:28:24 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=2740847 If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

If you’re not already riding the kimchi train, this is your sign to get on board. The gut-healthy condiment is a spicy, fermented Korean staple. It’s typically made with napa cabbage, radish, gochujang, garlic, ginger and a mix of anchovy, shrimp or fish sauce for a kick of umami. Many kimchis also have apple or pear for a touch of sweetness to balance the fermented, umami flavor.

You can add kimchi to so many dishes. It’s a great addition to pasta sauce for a spicy kick, you can top your rice or noodle bowl with it, it’s excellent in a taco instead of lettuce, and it makes a bright topping for eggs as well. You can serve kimchi as a stand-alone side dish too, or just eat it as a healthy snack for those probiotic benefits.

Now that Kimchi has become more mainstream in the United States, there are some great brands out there to try that are widely available at local grocery stores, Asian markets, and even right on Amazon. Costco Enchiladas Are Back — They’re ‘So Good’ & You’ll Want to Stock up Because They’re the ‘Easiest Weeknight Meal’ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234878995/costco-enchiladas/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/1234878995/costco-enchiladas/#respond Tue, 13 May 2025 13:54:52 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?p=1234878995 It’s always a good idea to have a few meals on deck in the freezer for those nights when you can’t bring yourself to whip up a meal from scratch. And Costco has one such freezer-friendly meal that you’ll want to stock up on so you always have it on hand. The enchiladas are back and they’re better than ever. Just pop them in the oven and you’ll have dinner on the table in under an hour and with no prep whatsoever.

“The enchiladas are back in the Costco Deli, and this one is so good,” Laura from Costco Hot Finds on Instagram said in a recent video. “It’s made with rotisserie chicken, black beans, jalapenos, bell peppers, cheddar cheese, rice, and tortillas. I covered it and baked it for about 50 minutes, and we had the easiest weeknight meal.”

And Laura isn’t the only Costco shopper who loves the enchiladas. Her comments section is loaded with fans who only have good things to say about the returning dish.

“We love this dish!!” one person wrote. Another said, “I make Spanish rice to complement these and my family loves it!!”

Someone else added, “These are delicious!” And another commenter wrote, “They were tasty! And easy. I won’t do enchiladas from scratch (too much work/too many ingredients). They did have a little kick to them, too — just as a heads up! And I did find they were a little on the salty side.”

It looks like you can grab a pan of them for just under $24, and a single pan will definitely be enough to serve your entire family. If you haven’t yet given Costco’s enchiladas a try, hit up your local warehouse to see if your deli has them in stock. And grab a few because you’ll want to keep these in your freezer for those lazy or rushed weeknight meals.

14 Nostalgic '90s Snacks You Can Still Buy Online https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/slideshow/1234870927/millennial-snacks/ https://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/slideshow/1234870927/millennial-snacks/#respond Fri, 09 May 2025 21:00:35 +0000 https://www.sheknows.com/?post_type=pmc-gallery&p=1234870927 If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

We know it makes us sound old, but some things just were better back in the day. Nothing beat sitting around watching Nickelodeon all day, no worries about screen time or social media bullying interfering with a day of cartoons and snacking. We didn’t realize how good we had it back then, but just because we’re grown-ups now, that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy some of the things that made being a millennial kid so great.

Our favorite millennial TV shows are mostly available to stream these days, we can listen to our favorite songs from growing up any time we want, and best of all, lots of classic millennial snacks are still available online, even if they might look a little different than when we were kids (remember when Snapple came in glass bottles?).

The next time you find yourself filled with nostalgia and longing for yesteryear, try stocking your pantry with these millennial snack favorites. You can grab something sweet or something salty that will bring you back to those simpler days, pull up an episode of Hey Arnold!, put your phone on airplane mode, and pretend you’re a kid again.
