We know it makes us sound old, but some things just were better back in the day. Nothing beat sitting around watching Nickelodeon all day, no worries about screen time or social media bullying interfering with a day of cartoons and snacking. We didn’t realize how good we had it back then, but just because we’re grown-ups now, that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy some of the things that made being a millennial kid so great.
Our favorite millennial TV shows are mostly available to stream these days, we can listen to our favorite songs from growing up any time we want, and best of all, lots of classic millennial snacks are still available online, even if they might look a little different than when we were kids (remember when Snapple came in glass bottles?).
The next time you find yourself filled with nostalgia and longing for yesteryear, try stocking your pantry with these millennial snack favorites. You can grab something sweet or something salty that will bring you back to those simpler days, pull up an episode of Hey Arnold!, put your phone on airplane mode, and pretend you’re a kid again.

Capri Sun Strawberry Kiwi
Image Credit: Capri Sun. Capri Sun is way more enjoyable as an adult, now that we know how to stick a straw into one without it turning into a lunchroom geyser. The iconic strawberry kiwi flavor will really bring you back.

COMBOS Pizzeria Snacks
Image Credit: COMBOS, Pizza as a flavor was a lot more popular when we were young, and we wish the trend would come back. But thankfully Pizzeria COMBOS, one of our favorite gas station and convenience store snacks, are still available.

Dunkaroos Vanilla Cookies and Rainbow Chip Frosting
Image Credit: Betty Crocker. When Dunkaroos came back, we were ready to throw a party. Cookies dipped in frosting were a game-changer then, and they’re a game-changer now.

Fruit By The Foot Fruit Flavored Snacks
Image Credit: Fruit By The Foot. We can still hear the sound of rustling Fruit By The Foot backing papers fluttering through the air like butterflies as our classmates chowed down on these sweet-tart fruit strips in the cafeteria. Sometimes if we were patient, we would unravel the whole thing, then roll it up into a tight ball for a totally new experience. It’s weird the things you remember about childhood when you’re an adult!

Nabisco Variety Pack
Image Credit: Nabisco. They really included all of our sweet and crunchy favorites in this variety pack: OREO Mini, CHIPS AHOY! Mini, Teddy Grahams Honey, and Barnum’s Animal Crackers.

Fruit Roll-Ups
Image Credit: Fruit Roll-Ups. Fruit Roll-Ups are still around, thankfully. As a kid we loved the ones that had shapes to punch out and eat, and the ones that came with tongue tattoos (even if the tatoos were always blurry). These days, we’ll settle for the tangy-sweet Tropical Tie-Dye flavor.

Nature Valley Granola Bars
Image Credit: Nature Valley. We had a love-hate relationship with these crunchy, crumbly granola bars as kids. But now that we have a better understanding of how to prevent crumbs from winding up all over our shirts, we crave the sweet, toasted flavor of Nature Valley granola bars.

Gushers Fruit Flavored Snacks
Image Credit: Gushers. Soft yet chewy, full of delicious goo, colorful and craveable, Gushers are one snack we’re glad we can still enjoy any time we want. These used to be valuable for making snack trades at lunch time, too.

J.R. Dippers Cheese Dip & Bread Sticks Snacks
Image Credit: J.R. Dippers. If you’re more of a savory snacker, then you probably skipped the Dunkaroos in favor of these Cheese Dip & Bread Sticks Snacks. The cheese spread has that iconic orange mystery cheese flavor, and the breadsticks are crunchy and satisfying.

Quaker Chewy Dipps Granola Bars
Image Credit: Quaker. There was a big trend of granola bars tasting more like candy bars when we were kids, and though our beloved Kudos are no longer available, these chocolate-covered chewy peanut butter granola bars are just as suspiciously delicious.

Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn
Image Credit: Smartfood. There’s a reason why Smartfood is still around — it’s hands-down the cheesiest, with a real white cheddar flavor that’s impossible to stop snacking on.
-
Snapple Zero Sugar Peach Tea
Image Credit: Snapple. Snapple seemed so elegant and grown-up. We would sip Diet Peach Snapple and feel like true sophisticates (especially when it came in a glass bottle).
-
Stretch Island Fruit Leather
Image Credit: Stretch Island. Fruit leather was considered to be a hippie snack, and if your parents were on the healthier side, you probably got these fruit leathers in your lunch box instead of Fruit by the Foot. And honestly? It’s also totally tasty.

SunnyD Tangy Original Orange Juice Drink
Image Credit: SunnyD. It’s not orange juice — it’s better. This drink is loaded with Vitamin C, has a super citrus flavor, and tastes like childhood.
