One of our favorite things about each new year is all the pregnancy announcements. Of course, they trail just behind our endless love for birth announcements, but it’s always so exciting to hear a bundle of joy is on the way. Whether there’s a whole lot of pomp and circumstance or a simple Instagram post, it’s always interesting to see how our favorite celebrities decide to share the news that they are expanding their family.
Last year, we saw some priceless pregnancy announcements. Buckingham Palace announced that Princess Beatrice is expecting, Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade surprised her dad with the news while filming a music video, and Andie MacDowell’s daughter Rainey Qualley had a hilarious (if risqué) announcement. Brittany Mahomes brought a tear to our eye with her behind-the-scenes footage from a photo shoot with the First Family of Football showing off sonogram photos. And Kylie Kelce brought a whole lot of tears to her daughter Bennett’s eyes. The youngest Kelce girl is nowhere near as excited about getting a baby sister as the rest of the world is for the family.
And now we’re just itching to see what’s in store for this year. Below, is a list of our favorite famous figures who announced in 2025 that they’re expecting a new addition to their family. Congratulations!

Vanessa Kirby

Francesca Eastwood

She announced the news on Instagram with the caption reading, “Wearing the dress my mom wore more pregnant with me @francesfisher ♻️😌 📸 @jonnymarlow and @saratintari @dendoll.”
She shares one son with actor Alexander Wraith named Titan, born in 2018.

Saoirse Ronan

The Mary Queen of Scots star showed off her growing bump when she attended the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 show in Avignon, France on May 22. She looked stunning in a silky dark green gown with black lace trim.

Leah Van Dale & Matthew Polinsky

The pair announced the news of baby number two to their Instagram with the caption reading, “all in perfect time..our new chapter begins this fall 🤍 .”
The pair have been married since 2022, and previously welcomed son Dimitri in Nov 2023. She is the stepmom to Polinsky’s three children from his previous marriage.

Cressida Bonas & Henry David (Harry) Wentworth-Stanley

This will be their second child together, having welcomed their first child, a son named Wilbur James Wentworth-Stanley, in 2022.

The couple had been going through a difficult time, and Jennifer cried when taking the pregnancy test. “I’m just scared because I’m not the person I want to be before bringing in another child,” she said in a confessional, per People. “I’m sad for this child because I don’t even know where my marriage is at.”

Rihanna announced at the 2025 Met Gala that she is expecting Baby No. 3 with boyfriend A$AP Rocky by debuting her baby bump on the red carpet. The couple also share sons RZA (b. 2020) and Riot (b. 2023). Rihanna also had an epic pregnancy announcement for Riot, debuting her baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Karlie Kloss & Joshua Kushner

Hugh Grosvenor & Olivia Grosvenor

Hugh is a mutual friend of Prince William and Prince Harry and is the godfather of both their first sons. And so, the happy new has sparked speculation over which (if either) brother will be the godfather.

She and her husband also shared a joint post with precious behind the scenes footage of a photoshoot they did together. The two walk through a field, holding hands, and eventually pose with Culpo’s bump on display and sonogram photos in hand.

For those who don’t know, Badgley and Kirke started dating in 2014. They married in 2017, and he became the stepfather to her son, Cassius Riley, 16. They also welcomed a son named James, born in Aug 2020.

“She’s been manifesting this for months before I found out I was even pregnant!” Pacheco told People exclusively. In fact, Nakano was actually the first person to legitimately know the model is pregnant.
“She read [the pregnancy test] to Wilmer and I, and she has been shouting it from the mountaintops to every person who comes in her path: ‘I’m going to be a big sister!'”

Cruz and Garcia also welcomed twins in 2022.

“I know he’s going to be the best, and it’s just gonna be exciting to do this together as a team,” Harper added.
