Tiffany Trump is officially a mom! The 31-year-old daughter of President Donald Trump and ex-wife Marla Maples welcomed her first child with husband Michael Bolous earlier this month and just announced the exciting news on social media.
“Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy,” she captioned an Instagram post that included a black-and-white photo of her holding her newborn’s tiny foot.
“We love you beyond words!” she continued. “Thank you for coming into our lives!”
The proud new mom also revealed her baby’s name, and she chose a powerful and historic moniker: Alexander.
The multicultural baby name, which has Greek and Swedish roots along with biblical and Shakespearean ties, typically means “defender of men.” It is commonly associated with Alexander the Great, and we have to wonder if Tiffany — whose father ran on the campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again” — purposefully chose a name that is associated with the word “great.”

Maples was quick to comment on the post. “✨🩵No greater joy in the world🩵✨ Michael and Tiffany this Gran Mar Mar loves you all so much!! You rocked it, my girl!” she said, sharing her unique grandma name. Donald Trump does not seem to have publicly commented on the birth, but we hope it’s more enthusiastic than his pregnancy announcement.
In the fall, Trump revealed that his youngest daughter was pregnant and seemed lukewarm about having an 11th grandchild on the way. At a campaign event, the convicted felon revealed that Tiffany’s father-in-law was in attendance.
“[Michael is] a very exceptional young guy,” Trump told the crowd, per USA Today. “And [Tiffany is] an exceptional young woman, and she’s going to have a baby, so that’s nice.”
So that’s nice. It’s, dare we say, even more than nice! Congratulations to the new parents, and welcome to the world, baby Alexander!
