Meghan Markle & Princess Lilibet’s Twinning Beekeeper Moment Is Too Cute To Miss

Meghan Markle had a twinning moment with Princess Lilibet on May 25 that melted every royal heart.

The mother-daughter duo donned matching beekeeper outfits to protect them when they went to harvest honey from the hive. The Instagram Story video showed the Duchess of Sussex and her three-year-old daughter ambling toward the hives in their gear as The Archies’ song, “Sugar, Sugar” played over the clip — surely a nod to big brother Archie, 6! Lilibet, who was only seen from behind, had a hood and veil over her face with a few redheaded curls peeping out.

The oversized look was so cute as her fingers got lost in the gloves as she held her mama’s hand. The preschooler also revealed her flair for fashion as she showed off a chic pair of rainbow-striped boots. Meghan tenderly rubbed her daughter’s back as they got closer to the hives — it was a way to reassure her that she was safe from the bees.

Beekeeping was a big part of Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, so it’s adorable to see how she’s passing on her love for honey to her children. Fans also got behind-the-scenes snapshots on her social media account in honor of her seventh wedding anniversary to Prince Harry on May 19. A bulletin board of images showed off their courtship, marriage, and family over the years. It might be the most intimate glimpse of Harry and Meghan that royal fans have seen yet.

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,” she wrote in the caption. “Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!”

Meghan shared with People in early March how the launch of her show in March aligned with the current season her family was experiencing. “When your children get to a certain age — when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again — it’s super joyful,” she explained. “As a woman, a mom, and a wife, to be able to find yourself again — in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older — is a wonderful feeling.”

Meghan considered home her “safe haven” where her “close-knit family” is protected in Montecito, California. From the looks of Princess Lilibet’s joyful walk with her mom during their beekeeping adventure, life is golden for the royal family.
